Twelve Talisman Forms · Tracing Workbook

Twelve talisman forms, starting from Dingxin, the simplest of them. This is a tracing book: the patterns are printed in light grey so you can go over them — and if you ruin one, nobody minds.

• 12 finished forms: one page each, with a line on where each is usually used
• Stroke breakdown: the opening, running and closing strokes marked section by section, plus the four common ways people go wrong
• 12 tracing grids: one per form, 6×6 grid, A4, ready to print
• One page of rules: where not to stick these, and what to do with a finished sheet

Who it suits

Anyone just starting to practise; also fine if you only want folk patterns for your own records.

Note

These are folk materials, for practice and private reference; no effect is promised. Three key strokes have been deliberately left out of the book — those three the Bureau does not hand out.
