By visiting the UNIVERSTAR Observatory (hereafter “this site”) you agree to the terms below.
1. What this site is
This site gathers folk legends, urban rumours and reader submissions in order to record and discuss folklore. Almost none of it can be verified, and some of it is explicitly fiction. We offer no divination, no fate-changing, no medical or investment advice or service of any kind, and we do not vouch for the truth of any account.
2. User content
- What you post on the forum, in comments or in a submission is your responsibility, and it must not infringe anyone’s rights or contain anything unlawful.
- By submitting, you give this site a non-exclusive right to display, edit (fixing typos and removing personal information) and republish that content, credited as you choose.
- Posting real personal information, visit instructions down to a house number, paid apprenticeships, or claims of healing and fate-changing is not allowed.
3. Our right to act
We may remove or bury content that breaks these rules or that infringes rights or privacy, and may close the accounts involved, without prior notice.
4. Intellectual property
The layout, the map interface and the archive texts belong to this site. When republishing, credit the source with a link and keep notices such as “fiction” or “submission”.
5. Disclaimer
Content is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for anything that follows from reading it, visiting a place or acting on it. For questions of health, safety or law, consult a professional.
