The Sathorn Unique Tower in Bangkok was halted during the 1997 financial crash. For more than forty floors only the frame went up, and there it has stood since.

Nobody lives in the building, yet the roof is often photographed with its lights on. People nearby say they can see someone standing on a balcony, gone by the time you get close.

Since it was abandoned the tower has become a site for escape games and photography. Those who have been inside give one warning: do not stay too long on the same floor — the floor numbers will stop adding up.
