Huda Red Building · Blood Seeping in the Rain
Share
This red-brick building has a long history. Legend has it that it served as a makeshift hospital during the War of Resistance, accumulating much of the patients’ lingering resentment.
The most persistent rumor is that whenever it is rainy or overcast, the walls ooze marks resembling blood, which reappear the next day after being wiped away.
Students privately call it the “breathing building.” When evening self-study ends, there are always some who insist on taking the long way around, walking along the tree-lined path behind it.
