Hotel Vancouver · The Woman in Green
Share
Hotel Vancouver stands downtown, a castle-style hotel of the railway age, with marble on the lobby floor and lifts that are still worked by hand.
Its best-known figure is the “woman in green”. She is said to move between the lobby and the fourteenth floor, and when she enters the lift she presses no button and says nothing. One staff member said he spoke to her, and that she only nodded once.
There is one unwritten rule in staff training here: if you meet her in a corridor, treat her as a guest, and do not follow her.
