Is the yellow dyed?

Yes. In this colour range the yellow is added rather than found — natural yellow agate is a duller, banded, mustard-toned stone and costs several times more. Rather than describe it as something it is not, we would rather tell you what you are buying and what it needs.

Will the colour fade, or come off on my skin?

Well-dyed agate does not come off. It can soften over years of strong sunlight, but it will not bleed onto your wrist in normal wear. If a bracelet ever leaves a mark when it gets wet, the dye was applied badly — that is the one thing worth testing before buying dyed agate anywhere.

How can I tell dyed agate from natural?

Look at the drilled hole and at any cracks. Dye collects in both, so they look darker than the surface, almost like a stain. Natural agate is the same colour at the hole as anywhere else, and it almost always shows banding and uneven tone. Colour that is perfectly uniform and saturated from edge to edge has usually been added.

Is this the same stone as your red agate bracelet?

Same mineral, different treatment. Red agate is normally heat-treated: the stone is heated until the iron inside it oxidises and the colour changes from the inside out, which is permanent and will not fade. This yellow is dyed. If you are choosing between them, pick red for the colour that cannot fade and yellow for the Earth element.

Care

Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which is what fades dye over the years. Take it off before swimming, showering and applying sunscreen — the elastic ages faster than the stone. Wipe with a soft dry cloth.
